The advancement in technology has allowed the bathtub refinishing Industry to excel leaps and bounds within the last 5 - 7 years.
Today a local bathtub refinishing pro in Dallas was called out to Arlington, Tx. A customer needed a bathtub and tile surround refinished and wanted to make sure it would be money well spent.
Dallas Bathtub Refinishing was the company using the synthetic porcelain Spray with liquid glass additive.
The before and after results were posted below. This was accomplished by not only etching the bathtub and tile both but also by using the Fusion Lock molecular bonding agent hand rubbed into the pores created by the etching process. This concluded with 9 layers of synthetic porcelain with liquid glass additive being fused into the old surface. Bathtub Refinishing

I was called out today to fix an issue that had occurred after another company refinished a tile wall surround. The customer was sure the other person had done a terrible job. However, I found water behind the coating when I sanded it off. The positive part is I was able to sand it down and fix it. I think we need to focus on fixing issues. Not belittle our fellow competitor. To be honest this was not the refinishers fault. It's not the homeowners fault either and placing blame does not fix it. Let's just get it fixed. That is why refinishing is so great! It can ALWAYS be fixed.
Let's not point fingers and be dishonest and unprofessional. Instead, let's enjoy life! Nothing is worth stressing over, loosing sleep over.
